Farm Succession Planning
Succession planning is a process to plan for the transfer of management, control and ownership of the farm business between one generation and the next or successor generation. At Barry & Lynch, we will take the time to work with you to develop a comprehensive plan that best meets the needs of your farm and family. When you are clear on all the options and have made your decision, involving your solicitor and accountant will be critical.
At Barry & Lynch we work with farmers who need to explore alternative systems, e.g. the highly stocked farmer who requires a contract rearing solution, share milking arrangements and slurry management solutions.
“Our focus is on delivering a seamless and professional service that starts from the moment you make contact with a member of our team.“
Livestock & Asset Disposal
Getting the best value for your livestock and assets, including machinery and facilities is critical to your financial well-being. Barry & Lynch will catalogue and market all your assets to generate demand and maximise return on investment.
At Barry & Lynch, our team can organise on-farm auctions or arrange to sell all assets privately.
Land Transfer Management
The transfer of land is complex, challenging and time-consuming. At Barry & Lynch work with clients to ensure this process is as simple and stress-free as possible. The team will engage with the client’s accountant and solicitor to streamline the transfer process by gathering relevant information on the farm or piece of land.
Identifying land parcels, folio numbers, updating valuations and being the single point of contact are all part of the service at Barry & Lynch.
Monday-Friday: 9am to 5pm
We understand that working from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday will not serve the needs of everyone in the agricultural community. Because of this, we are happy to offer consultations out of hours.
